COVID-19 Testing and Screening Information
If you think you may have COVID-19, you can call your primary care provider, or ask your home care nurse to start the screening process.
Symptoms
COVID-19 presents with a wide range of symptoms that range from mild to severe. Symptoms may appear 2–14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19.
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea

We offer our services to you and other patients and caregivers while minimizing COVID-19-related risks. Learn more about Trinity Health's commitment to your safety. It's important that you continue to recieve your home care and hospice services to maintain your health plan.
To keep you and your family safe, we require masks for all colleagues, clinicians, patients, and caregivers in the home.
No, you are not required to get tested. However, you will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 prior to each home care or hospice visit. If you develop any COVID symptoms, please alert your home care team immediately. Call 911 if you are experiencing a health emergency.
All our clinicians wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and are trained in infection control procedures. All staff are screened daily for symptoms of COVID-19 and each patient is screened prior to the home visit for symptoms of COVID-19.
