Trinity Health PACE CEO Advocates Before PA State House

President & CEO of Trinity Health PACE Dan Drake continues to support expanding PACE care for seniors, as he recently spoke at a hearing before the House Aging and Older Adult Services Committee at the Capitol. Drake used this platform to highlight the importance of PACE in our communities and draw attention to current obstacles.

His testimony focused on advocating for rate equity, addressing the challenges that have led to enrollment stagnation, and educating on the importance of community and home-based services that PACE offers.

This opportunity is timely, as Drake was recently elected as Chair of the Pennsylvania LIFE Provider Alliance (PALPA), an organization committed to increasing awareness of PACE (known as LIFE, Living Independence for the Elderly, in Pennsylvania) and advancing policies that best support seniors.

"Being elected as Chair of the PALPA Board is not only an honor but a pivotal opportunity to foster significant advancements in how we care for our aging population in Pennsylvania," said Drake.

His goal for the May 22nd hearing was emphasizing the essential changes needed to support the continued success and expansion of PACE programs and ensuring seniors receive the best possible care in the comfort of their communities.
